The MWC ended today with record attendance levels, making it the best congress yet.

This week Barcelona hosted the Mobile World Congress, the most important telecommunications event worldwide, which showed how important mobile communications have become in our daily lives, for work and entertainment alike.

This year’s event saw presentations by Mark Zuckerberg, Jan Koum and Virginia Rometty among others, the opportunities afforded by 4G communications technology, the unveiling of the new Samsung 5 mobile phone and the ever-increasing role of mobile applications.
